Magnetracks

Magnetracks began out of frustration in 2013 when Eliot - then Creative Director for a team of film/TV composers under the Greengate Collective banner - found there had to be a better way to manage their growing catalog of music and creative contributors. He began to build a unified system for rightsholders, contracts, alts/stems, clients, projects and metadata, that could support a real-world workflow for their busy publishing company.

Thanks to continual collaboration and feedback from early clients like Sony/Extreme and Vanacore Music, industry leaders, and in response to massive changes in the musical landscape, Magnetracks evolved and improved in leaps and bounds. In 2018, we introduced a cost-effective version aimed at independent artists, composers and producers, which was warmly received. In 2019, we added a mobile version and integration with several apps. Most recently, in cooperation with DashGo, Magnetracks introduced digital distribution to all the major streaming services in the world.

Today, Magnetracks is perhaps the most complete platform anywhere dedicated to sourcing, managing, releasing and promoting music. With a dedicated team and exciting growth plans, Magnetracks will continue to find ways to break down the barriers between the creative people we serve, and the global music marketplace!
